I like this thermometer but it is slow changing the temperature when moving from one place to another. I bought two. The reason I bought them was because I was able to adjust the temperature setting by tapping the metal bracket sideways, that holds the spring, located in the back of the thermostat. Needs adjustment
At first disappointed in that it was 4 degrees off from my digital thermometer. However, I found out that it could be adjusted, but not easily. At first I couldn't move the mechanism and then the flat metal piece that was pressing against the plastic body came loose and I was able to twist the mechanism to get it to read correctly. it was trial and error until I got it aligned to the same temp as my digital thermometer. Good product for a good price.
I purchased the same thermometer nearly 20 years ago and it provided accurate information until now. If anything can last outdoors for 20 years I should buy another one. I like the bold numbers because I can still read them from a distance of 40 feet.Lire l'avis complet...

Looks good and seems to be accurate
It’s the perfect size for outside my window. It matches temperature to my digital one. The only thing I am not crazy about is the backside is totally open. Leaving the coil exposed. Simple, functional and affordable - great product.
Simple mechanism may be adjusted to fine tune its calibration (mine was ~1ºF off compared to lab thermometers). Mounting mechanism holds the thermometer away from the mounting surface so that it measures air temperature, not surface temperature.Lire l'avis complet...

Just don't buy this
The coil spring is exposed to the air on the back (fine for indoors but this says it's fit for outdoor use). Flimsy plastic conduction. Dropped it onto the grass while trying to get it on the metal bracket, now it's broken and a total waste.Lire l'avis complet...

Great value
Temperature appears to be accurate. Very easy to read. It's pretty flimsy, but still a great value.
Note: It can be hung on a nail without using the included bracket.

Simplicity
Easy to read and no complexity to construction. I would recommend some type of backing to prevent dust/dirt blowing into the 'spring' . I would buy another.
