Good movie-BLU RAY PACKAGE DISAPPOINTING

I enjoyed the film. I already reviewed the 1 disc DVD release.

Best regular Disney film since Lilo and Stitch. Music better than it had been in SOME TIME since Enchanted, but you do NOT remember the songs after the fact. Enjoyed the Maximum & Pascal characters.

I said this in my DVD review & people did NOT like it. The flaw with the film is that it took from Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and why we do NOT know The Princess and the Frog. SPOILER ALERT:
The villain falls from the tower, did we NOT see the villain fall to their end in Snow White? The magic flower was in Beauty & the Beast with the Rose. Crowd scene in same film & Hutchback. The good guy starts out being a heal like Princess and the Frog.

Now, I bought the blu ray LOOKING FORWARD TO BETTER EXTRAS. Was I disappointed. I like "making of" specials & did look forward to seeing this one. It is NOT meant for adults, it is directed only for kids. Too short, did NOT show hardly anything. Just done by 2 of the films voice talents talking ONLY to kids NOT to viewers of any age.

We do get more extras on the blu ray than the 1 on the regular DVD, rest not outstanding, just normal stuff.

So, a good movie but taking ideas from previous Disney movies is a flaw. Extras just NOT outstanding, just normal.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Disney Movie Ever

For my money, this is the best Disney movie ever -- in fact, superior even to the cult hit Frozen. Whereas Frozen is basically a character study, Tangled is a true action-adventure movie. I'm a 70+ year old male, and Tangled and The Croods are about the only animated features I can watch repeatedly with my granddaughter and not zone out. A favorite

My son is 3 years old and this is the first movie that he was engaged in and wanted to watch it over and over again. We had it recorded to our dvr but it was deleted and I had to buy this movie quick to avoid a meltdown. I decided to buy this one because it had the blu Ray to watch in the car, a DVD to watch at home and the digital copy to watch while out and about. Tangled 3d blu-ray so Entertaining

We loved this movie in 3D. Start to finish it was so Entertaining! Disney 3D is at the top & we highly recommend it. Great characters & not too much singing like some animated movies (Frozen ARGHHHH). You won't be disappointed Lire l'avis complet...

One of my favorites!

This movie is very entertaining for all ages. Even my 13 year old brother and his friends loved watching it!

Love how Disney stuck to the traditional fairytale with a little edge. Nothing too far away from the traditional story. The whole movie is very beautifully made. It wasn't over the top with CGI. The actors played their parts amazingly well. Even the villians in the movie were great.

The songs from the movie are good. Nothing you'll be singing two weeks later but still amazing. Tons of plot twists will keep everyone glued to the TV.

The only problem: Getting your daughters to cut their hair after!Lire l'avis complet...

Where are the 3D effects?

This DVD was very cute but I bought it for the 3D effects. Unfortunately there were only a few here and there. So 4 stars for story, and 1 star for 3D effects.

Disney back in true form. Great story and animation. Go Blu-Ray if you can.

Top notch Disney 'princess' movie, on the order of Mulan and Aladdin. Not just for the kiddies. One of the few animated movies my wife liked. Beautiful animation and story. We'll paced. True depth of the story/love/sacrifices do not come out until 2 or 3 viewings so well worth watching more than once. A couple beautiful scenes have little or no dialogue at all - but then again the animation/story telling was so well done nothing needed to be said. Bought the 3-D combo pack with the plan of someday having a 3-D setup to watch this as I saw it in the theatre.Lire l'avis complet...

Good movie, great package!

Bought this without having seen the movie, but had heard good reviews from others. Have only had the opportunity to view it on the DVD, but purchased this item because of the flexibility it offered for viewing. Enjoyed the movie (somewhat predictable in some areas, but overall very well done) and am looking forward to taking advantage of the other discs included as well!
