Love this crisp full frame lens with an open Aperture!

If you want a great value for a great lens, then this is it. Yes, the $2000+ Nikon lens with VR is slightly better... but only. If that small percentage (and I mean small that only a very tuned eye would even notice) is critical to what you do, then get it the more expensive one.

If not, then this is superb. Its tact sharp, fast (term used for open Aperture that can be maintained throughout the focal length), quick to focus, nice colors, amazing glass, and is absolutely professional quality. Anyone who says otherwise must have bought a broken or badly used version, dropped theirs or mishandled it, or really do not understand photography.

This is a tool and a very good one. It will not hammer itself, but it will work very well with you.

Its beautiful and solid. It is not a light lens, so if that is your number 1 priority, then get a much cheaper and plastic lens with a much less open aperture.

perfect lense for a great price

This lense looked perfect and takes excellent pictures. At 1/2 the price of a new one it's a great deal! The pictures are sharp and clear.

Great Quality and versatile

This lens has always been a favorite. The lens range and quality are perfect for shooting portraits or abstract shots. I especially love the lens for the low light availability.

Sharp bugger

Pro level build quality, weather sealing, accurate autofocus, and very sharp. What's not to like? Weight. That's what not to like. It is a heavy beast. But nothing is perfect, so if you want a 2.8 lens, deal with it, amigo.Lire l'avis complet...

Save yourself a thousand bucks. This lens is every bit as sharp as the competition, and has VC and coatings that the other guys can't compete with.
