A great lens equal to or better than the Nikon
Love it. Had the Nikon a year ago and sold it. This Tamron functions better and has VR so all is good.

Great Tamron lens!
Great wide-angle lens, super sharp! Heavy but it is worth it. Great housing quality. The perfect complement for the Tamron G2 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses.

Bargin for a sharp F2.8 wide angle lens
I think this lens is a bargin. I can't imagine that the G2 is significantly better. The SP is the better value.
