I love the lens
This is a really good lens for the price. It fits my Sony A7iii perfectly because of the size. Though it a bit long, it's narrow circumference makes it a perfect fit for the Sony mirrorless camera. I took a couple of shots and I like the bokeh and the sharpness of the lens.
I mainly do videos. I used it for a wedding this weekend and when I reviewed the 4K videos, I could see so much details even the very tiny details in the make-up.
Occasionally it's a bit slow in grabbing focus but it eventually gets it; I probably need to adjust the focus speed in the camera. I believe you will love the lens. Lire l'avis complet...

Great for the price with some limitations.
This lens is surprisingly sharp even on my a7rIII. The focus can hunt every now and then in lower light situations but is fairly decent. I was wondering if I would miss the extra 24mm of focal length and I definitely wish I had it in certain situations. Great Versatile Lens
I just switched from Canon to Sony and wanted an easy, versatile lens. I debated between the 24-70 and this one, and I'm very happy with the 28-75. It is more inexpensive but the quality is still sharp. It's very light and a constant grab for me! I mainly use it for landscape and photos of my dog (@whereskaia for more of it), and love how quick it focuses and creates a nice depth of field.Lire l'avis complet...

Average performance compared to primes
Obviously primes are going to perform better, but I was a little suprised by the lack of image sharpness. Going to stick to prine lenses until I find a zoom lens with comparable sharpness(that I can afford)
Otherwise the lens had a good quality feel to it and if sharpness isnt super important to you, you'll probably be really happy with this.

Great Value!
Coming from a micro 4/3s camera, this along with the Sony a7ii are huge! But the image quality is amazing and I'm pretty sure this is best value I'm getting for the money, the f/2.8 is lovely to have :) Plus! One of the best lenses that won't break the bank

Almost As Good As the Hype
A very good lens overall, but the autofocus can take time to work and often has difficulty working with certain subjects, especially shooting closeup. I get around this problem by switching to manual focus.Lire l'avis complet...

Tamron - Who would've thought!
Personally I have never purchased any third-party lenses until now; maybe I am a snob, but this one was a surprise. My Nikon D810 system only uses Nikon lenses (2.8 or better) and my Sony a6400 only uses Sony lenses, but now I was in need of purchasing some lenses for my Sony a7III and that is when I came across the Tamron.
I purchased this due to the high approval and ratings of others and I am not disappointed. Well worth the price paid and money saved over the Sony comparable lens. I will more than likely;y purchase Sony lenses for my primes, but this was the perfect all-around travel lens.Lire l'avis complet...

a great all-rounder lens for beginning photographers.
a lot of range in the zoom, but with a fixed f-stop. What's not to love? If it were metal it would we outstanding, but the plastic construction also makes it lighter and more affordable.
