Great switch for the dollar!

TRENDnet TEG-S80g is great switch for small computer networks needing gigabit speeds. The 8 ports are autosensing and provide enough bandwidth for high demand situations such as gaming or streaming, yet is just a suitable for light tasks such as web surfing.

ver1 or ver2, not ver3

you need v1.0 or v2.0 with metal case and all the leds , ( v2.1 ? may have jumbo frames problems)

but no ver3. v3.0 has
plastic housing and half the leds.

TRENDnet Giga Switches are Economical, fast and error free!

I was having problems with my existing Wind Stream Router so I upgraded to an AZUS mega router and to get the full benefit of the router I needed to upgrade my switches to megabit. Of all the switches that I researched, the TRENDnet giga switch was the most sturdy (metal case) and the lowest priced. Since purchasing this router I have purchased two more and I have not had a problem with any of the devices. European adapter.

The router cam with a European 220 volt adapter which was useless.
I had a hard time finding a proper replacement.
Router works fine though.

I bought This switch on ebay because it was priced right. It was half the price of the same switch at Best Buy. I figured if Best Buy carried it, that it must be good. Great Product!!! Product arrived as promised and very easy to set up and administer. I enjoy the gigabit speed and automaticaly detects the correct and adjusts to it automatically.

Bottom line is this is a sold piece of hardware and have had no issues with the productLire l'avis complet...
