The older v2 TEG-S80g is excellent. Mine have worked flawlessly for years. They have a sturdy metal case and use little power. The v2 model includes 100/1000 speed indicators on all ports and has mounting holes in the case. Trendnet removed those important features from the new v3 models! Great switch for a great price.

Bought this little switch to handle home multimedia and streaming duties. Haven't had a single complaint. Small, quiet with LEDs to easily see connection rates.

Good price. Excellent speed. Compact. Highly recommended!

Great unit. Works at up to 300 Mb/s that I can drive it to. I can't run any faster. And that's with three switches in the line so this thing is not waiting around to send the data along. I have had 3. One I plugged the wrong power adapter in and burnt up but the other two are great. The third one was great, too, till I let the smoke out. Great small switch

We have a number of these switches in our office. They are a great, inexpensive, commodity type of appliance that you set up and can then forget about.

Trendnet 8 port GB switch is working fine.

Trendnet switch has been working great. There is no fan so it's quiet but it doesn't even get warm the few times I checked. It works so I couldn't ask for more. Except maybe some cash as a kickback.lolLire l'avis complet...

GREAT item & 1/2 the price of others like CISCO, SIEMENS, etc EASY HOOKUP!

I required a unit to use in my family room for both the TV & hooking up a laptop. This was VERY easy...just plug it in & hookup the cables...done & working well. HIGHLY recommend this product. TRENDnet TEG-S80g is great switch for small computer networks needing gigabit speeds. The 8 ports are autosensing and provide enough bandwidth for high demand situations such as gaming or streaming, yet is just a suitable for light tasks such as web surfing.
