Capable portable receiver
Very nice travel receiver, packs easy and has good reception using external antennas with 3.5mm phono connectors. Sensibility and selection is good for its class. Learning curve is necessary due to small lettering, few knobs and short or long hold buttons. It’s become my favorite of three other receivers though. MP3 player sounds good but organization of music is terrible: all tracks and folders are numbered. Can’t jump to an album directly or even recognize it by name. No RDS on FM.
Battery is great but included charger is crap and adds static to radio. I use a regular charger instead. No line in connector if that matters.

Great Radio, Nice Extras
Lives up to the Tecsun reputation for good radio quality and features. The extra battery, SD card, external wire antenna, and MP3/audio recorder are great extras. Nice padded case for all components and charger. IMHO, worth the extra cost as compared to the stand-alone radio.Lire l'avis complet...

A powerful great sounding radio.
This is awesome radio. It is very sensitive on all bands. Pulling in stations inside our home that we never could before. The sound and volume is amazing for such a small unit. Very well made. Feels like quality. The battery lasts forever. I bought a four battery 18650 battery charger for it as well.
The micro SD player works really well too.

Improvement over the 880.
Pros: Good selectivity, audio,
Con: Index in instruction manual is listed by page number. It could be removed..why? If you go page by page it is the same thing. List subjects by subject matter. That is how you can find what you are looking for easier.
Battery must have a "button" on the +, if it doesn't it will not make contact. Can't use other 18650 batteries. Lire l'avis complet...

Attractive design and functionality
At present time this is probably best portable receiver available on market. Relatively small size. Good sound. Good sensitivity on SW and MW, excellent on FM. Very good tuning capabilities. Good signal/noise on SSB by comparison to XHDATA D-808 and my old ATS-818. High quality design and ergonomics, attractive to use. Disadvantages: relatively high price and absence of Air Band. Great portable Shortwave Radio
I've been into shortwave since the 1970's and this is by far the best portable SW radio I have ever had. Like any radio, the better the antannae the better the reception. The radio comes with an extension antannae which makes reception much more sensitive. I got mine directly from the company, where the shipping was extremely fast. Very nice radio. Recerion is very good even on the telescopic antenna. All bands have very good audio. My only complaint is I wish it had squelch for listening in the SSB mode.
