Laurel and Hardy-March of the Wooden Soldiers (1934)

This is a must-have item for any fan of the GREATEST comedy team of all time-Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy!! "The Devil's Brother" (1933) is a fine example of what "the boys" did best at Hal Roach and that was appear in period comedies. Other great examples are "Babes In Toyland" (1934) and "The Bohemian Girl" (1936) (one of my favorites). This set also enjoys the inclusion of Bonnie Scotland" (1935), another excellent Hal Roach production. Both of these films benefit greatly from the prescence of Jimmy Finlayson. This set also includes their footage from "The Hollywood Revue of 1929" (1929) with Jack Benny making his film debut, their surviving footage from the lost film "The Rogue Song" (1930), their 2 segments from "Hollywood Party" (1934), and their 3 segments from "Pick A Star" (1937). These films have rarely been made available on VHS or DVD. Treat yourself to a time when screen comedy was at its' finest in the hands of 2 seasoned veterans of stage and screen. Greatest comedy duo of all time

I love these two guys. I've been watching them since I was a kid. These two movies are very funny. All the actors do a great job.

If you don't laugh while watching these, you have no sense of humor.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching these old classics, sans commercial interruptions. Laurel and Hardy, The Three Stooges, The Marx Bros, W.C. Fields, etc, etc...if you're watching a movie with any of the aforementioned, you are probably laughing, or at minimum, being well entertained. These figure are beautifully made and painted. They absolutely capture the child like innocence and antics of the classic comedians Laurel and Hardy.

Another interesting L & H movie that the wife did not have in her collection. Some classic scenes with Stan doing "easy-kneesy-nosey", something the others in the film cannot do, and for that matter, I seem to be the only one who can do it, as I have showed it to other people who try it, but get confused.Lire l'avis complet...
