Works well to sheild from heat.
Well made even being inexpensive. Fairly simple to install, had to remove one starter bolt and loosen the other to tilt the starter only because mine was tight against the block. But this helps to keep it in place when retightened. Even cover the wiring to protect from header heat. So far seems to have solved my hot start problems.

Starter wrap
I needed something to shield my starter as it labored when hot--This works well and easy to install my also suggestion is to wrap yout manifold pipes with heat shield tape found at any auto store
