Heard 3 songs on the radio & went straight to buy it
Although, I was a little disappointed after going on long drive listening to it. The album starts off very high strung but keeps a pace that is a little harsh for my taste. But overall, this is an awesome cd worth having because of it individuality. The lead singer is very smart and tells a nice story in his songs.
Love the accent, you get used to it and understand what hes singing. Wouldn't say the cd is a TEN! but would go with an EIGHT! because it could be mo' bettah!Lire l'avis complet...
For all the freaks and geaks,..and drunks!
I bought this along with the Underdog album, and have not stopped listening to the insanity. It is great energy for just about anything! Wonderlust King and Forces of Victory are both my favorites but I can say I do like all the songs on this album and find myself addicted. The singer reminds me of a Ukranian Joe Strummer, only a little crazier and with better pants! Very obvious inspiration from the Clash and ska/reggae. I cannot wait to go to one of their shows....BUY IT NOW!Lire l'avis complet...
Super Taranta ! ! !
A crazed, drunken, politically charged fiesta of gypsy rebel ska, this is the latest from globe-trotting Brooklynites Gogol Bordello. They’re justly famous for their melodramatic live show, which involves lots of screaming, howling, costumes and Punch & Judy guignol. Super Taranta gives you a blast of what you love, a Balkan mélange of ska, metal, flamenco and dub, with a revolutionary message to oppressors everywhere.Lire l'avis complet...
Alcohol
From the spastic Zina Marina to the melancholy love song Alcohol, Gogol Bordello offer us another brilliant masterpiece...SUPER TARANTA! Every time I put this on I am blown away and more and more impressed. Some albums get old. This one gets better. 5 Stars!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Super tarantula
Another great one by Gogol Bordello. They were the first gypsy punk band I really liked. If you aren't familiar with them, and you want some different post-punk punk, it's worth a listen. Not mohawk and boots punk, but more the post punk movement with an energetic gypsy mix.Lire l'avis complet...
Gogol Bordello "Super Taranta" - A++
This is an awesome CD! Completely different and unlike most anything else I have ever heard. Maybe, slightly brings to mind early Pogues. High energy, incredible strings, and very different lyrical perspectives. Highly recommended!!Lire l'avis complet...
