This record can't be missing from any guitar player's tracklist. Amazing job by Richie Sambora, which took place in a period when Bon Jovi soundband decided to take its time for a break.
Sambora shows all his capability to take his inspiration and feelings from the heart to the fretboard, and through his custom equipment (Fender Stratocaster Sambora signature overall) he gives us the chance to esperience them.
Buy this marvel of Rock Blues music, you won't regret it. and the ballad that gives the name to the album, STRANGER IN THIS TOWN, is so touching: you'll refrain from crying.
Sambora included also the listening instructions for his work: "Turn down the lights, light a candle... Welcome...".

Awesome!! Moody And Soulful!!

This CD is a Masterpiece!! It's passionate, soulful, bluesy sound sets a wonderful mood. As Richie says in the liner notes,"Turn Down The Lights, Light A Candle...Welcome". Each song is better than the last. My favorites are "One Light Burning","Church Of Desire" and "Father Time". But every song is great!! A++Lire l'avis complet...

Stranger In This Town-Richie Sambora

I was a bit disappointed in this Cd. I had hoped it would be real bluesy or at least blues-rock. Several songs were pretty good, but it was more middle ground than either rock or blues. More like pop sometimes. Richie sings great with Bon Jovi as a harmonizer, but his voice alone is not strong or impressive.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent solo release from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. Several killer songs,superb singing and great guitar solos abound. Sweet album!

I have had this album since it first came out on vinyl. I think Richie Sambora has a really good voice.

Great c.d. got exactly what I paid for. This is a hard to find item at a reasonable price. Richie cranks on the album. His style of guitar will ring in your head for days after you listen to this one.
