Engrossing, informative, sad and comforting.

I bought this book because my 88 year old Mom has early stage Alzheimer's Disease. I was immediately drawn into the story of Alice, who was 50 and was experiencing symptoms of Early Onset Alzheimer's. So many of her experiences parallel what my Mom has gone through. This book was very informative, and gave me a lot of insight as to what a person with Alzheimer's likely feels, thinks, and experiences.
