My city government has sponsored two groups of 20 city employees to participate in the Colorado diet. Everyone I've talked to has lost at least 20 pounds and some over 40 pounds. I bought the book and am following it on my own and have lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks. The diet is easy to follow and not as restrictive as some diets I've been on. Surprised! I like it and it works. I find that I am not hungry and am not having strong cravings. My husband is even sticking with it. I don't like much meat so I do a lot of protein shakes with spinach and protein powder. The first few days were the hardest because I was trying to figure out what to have until I got the hang of it.
