Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 1 and 2
The two Dvd's came new as claimed and arrived in 9 days- a day sooner than expected. Season 1 is 10 episodes on 4 discs with special features and Season 2 was also 10 episodes on only 3 discs. Wish there would of been more episodes but the story line connects with the younger years of Pike, Spock, Kirk brothers along with the rest of the crew. Hoping for a Season 3. Gene Roddenberry's original vision reborn - like the best episodes of the original Star Trek
This is the Star Trek that I always liked. Gene Roddenberry hopful vision with complete stories like the 1st 2 seasons & some of the last episodes of the 3rd season of the original Star Trek plus several of the movies especially The wrath of Khan & Iv - The Voyage home + some of the early seasons of The Next Generation (but not the idiotic ones with Q plus the recent movies. Good casting, too-- liked Mount on Hell on Wheels & Rebecca Romijn on the Librarians. The rest of the. cast is good, too. Tried Discovery -- but its endless plots & arrogant characters & general darkness made it a waste of my time. And Deep Space 9 had awful writing so gave up after awhile -- they let teh Ferenge that tried to rob & endanger them constantly run loose + the Q episode wherin a shuttle was in trouble so they unload its contents & the station suddenly has the same problems But it takes them the whole episode to figure out that they had unloaded the problem from that shuttle!!!
The is Gene R's vision (from the Jeffrey Hunter original pilot -- with better special effects, etc.) & what I want to see more of. Lire l'avis complet...

More Streaming Era Trek
Hooray! It's the continuing adventures of Capt. I-Failed-Astrophysics, (definitely straight for now) Lt. Psork, St. Cheeseburger, a nest of angry squirrels. You get to meet all your old favorite guest star roles as well. Come, discover the lovable antics of Pre-Pre-Meditated Attempted Murder T'Pring, Xenomorph Gorn, (definitely straight for now) Jimmy Kirk, Ms. I've-Got-the-Same-Last-Name as earth's most detested genetically engineered wannabe tyrant, and the venerable USS Discoprise.

Great for fans of Sy=tar Trek
For Star Trek fans it was interesting story before the James Kirk Enterprise era about Captain Pike who was part of a tv episode

Bad Discs
First disc just jammed up tried it in three different DVD players,, all the other discs had problems with stalling and starting

Star Trek at its finest.
Star Trek has always been about taking the world as it is now and shows how it could be. Strange New Worlds does this with a twist. it goes back to the tales of Star Trek's forgotten captain, Christopher Pike and tells a man conflicted. On the one hand, he cares deeply about the well being of those around him. He wants to help others. On the other hand, in the aftermath of his trip aboard the Starship Discovery, that if he keeps doing that he WILL doom himself to a fate worse than death. And yet... he voyages on. Awesome sauce
I am a big sci fi buff and I do enjoy Star Trek but I did fall in love with the series. I can't wait for season 3 to come out.
But overall satisfied, with what I got
