TNG at its best
The second Star Trek movie featuring the TNG crew is arguably one of the finest of the entire series.It comprises some of the staples of Sci-Fi (Time Travel, imaginative bad guys and a multiplicity of hi tech gadgetry) with an excellent soundtrack and good performances from all the principal characters. It is ultimately an overwhelmingly "feel Good" picture with the goodies thwarting the Borg's nefarious plot and the stalwart Enterprise crew saving civilisation as we know it. For avid Star Trek buffs it features some excellentr Trek "moments" and there is a superb scene as Picard surveys the carnage ala Wellington at Waterloo backed by some compulsive scoring. Definitely a must see which, I should imagine, may well appeal to those not of the Star Trek faith.Lire l'avis complet...
Lesson Learned
Being unaware that DVD players are programmed for certain regions I purchase this item from someone in the UK. Unfortunately I cannot play this DVD at all because I live in the US. I was quite disappointed but also can say I did not do my research. The one good thing I can say is that from now on I won't make this mistake again.Lire l'avis complet...
