very fun

Hi-
It seemed to be easy to beat after the first season i had 1mil. Some people say they had problems with dimness i just adjusted my brightness setting.. I found it at gamestop so check there but you'll probly find a better deal here.
The crash grafix are wierd like on, Saturday night speedway, in the fact that you bounce on your nose and tail. The sprints provide a fun challenge to drive and a pro-series championship is definately something to be proud of. The setups CAN make or break your night so get the hang of things.
It would be fun to have a mainly closed wheed game also, maybe we can count on THQ and big ant to create a seaqual with late models(that have actual drivers would'nt it be cool do drive Chubs car from this past World 100), street stocks, and maybe pro stocks (or limited late models whatever you want to call them) with all updated grafix, now this would be AWESOME. The exciting part of this game is two player career which is fun beating your dad and earning some cash for your upgrades and new parts for the car he wrecked.

-Downsides
There are no real drivers, yes there is the Tony Stewert bass pro shop car but Paul McMahan (not sure how it's spelled)doesnt drive it, and thats the only really detailed car.

Long story short definitely worth whatever you spend.

Buy the game for the dirt modified cars NOT the sprints

In MY opinion this game pales in comparison to it's predecessor, which was called World of Outlaws Sprint Cars 2002. Now that's a little misleading, because the WoO Sprint Cars game was made by a company called Ratbag, which is now defunct (no longer a company), and this game is made by a company called Big Ant, which is based out of Australia, although I've heard that a few of the programmers for Big Ant originally worked for Ratbag. This game doesn't even come close to the WoO 2002 game, if your talking about gameplay. If gameplay is what you're looking for, BUY THE WORLD OF OUTLAWS GAME!!! The only decent aspects to this game are the dirt modified race cars and maybe the midget sprints. I'm not saying this is an awful game, I'm just saying that for sprint car racing video games the WoO title is FAR superior! (you can find WoO 2002 for PS2 on ebay for between $10-$25 bucks. There is also a sequel to Road to Knoxville called "Showdown at Eldora", which is even worse than this game. The Eldora game has non-wing 410 sprint cars and Late Model cars, which I thought would be totally awesome! Well, I was wrong. If you want to race late models and stock cars, there is a great game out there called "Saturday Night Speedway" I'm sure you could find Saturday Night Speedway on ebay for a fairly reasonable price, and like I said if Late Models are your thing, buy the Sat. Night Speedway PS2 game IMMEDIATELY, I'm not sure if this title is available on original Xbox, and I know it's not available on PS3 or Xbox 360. I apologize for not really saying much about the Road to Knoxville game, the best I can say is, if you are a true dirt mod fan, looking for a cheap PS2 game to race the mods on, then this is your game (I found it on ebay for under $5.00!) But if sprint cars are your first love, buy the World of Outlaws 2002 game, and not this one. And once again, if Late Models/Hobby Stocks are your passion, buy Saturday Night Speedway. I'm not trying to tell you not to buy this game, I'm just telling you, that these other games are better (depending on your favorite class of cars). I hope I helped somebody figure out what they were looking for. And by the way It's ALLLLLL about the DIRT!!!!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

PS2 Road to Knoxville

I love this game, graphics and game play are realistic and awesome. The 1/4 midgets are a fun way to develop your skills driving around on the high bank slick tracks. My only complaint is I am hopelessly addicted to this game !Lire l'avis complet...

Sprint Cars: Road To Knoxville

This is one of the best dirt car games out there.

Pros: Great graphics, two players can play in career mode (big plus!), time trials and heat races are all set up realistically.

Cons: The sprint cars are to dang fast for me, lol. Actually I haven't found any hangups with the game.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Game hours of fun

After recieving the game I had to immediately get started. It functioned flawlessly until I reached the end of the winged sprint car season. At that point the game froze and would not continue. Not a big problem for me though since I was having just as much fun with the other options of the modified and 3/4 midget. ITS A BLAST!Lire l'avis complet...
