Gameplay a bit formulaic but the story and characters make it worth it.

The only reason I have not given this game five stars is because from standpoint of actual gameplay, it is pretty formulaic. The Spider-man characters battle through the various levels either fighting villians or solving the usual challenges until they get to the boss levels which are all pretty standard. Nothing really new here in that regard.
The real fun is in the creativity of the different Spider-man varients. I am a big fan of the Alternate Dimension sci-fi vehicle and the game does a great job exploring that genre while staying true to the comic book legend. The alternate villians are all fun to explore and that alone makes it worthwhile putting out the cost for the game as well as the time spent playing it. Three of the four Spider-men (original, future, and ultimate) all have very similar abilities and their episodes play pretty much the same--a lot of fighting, a couple of challenges and then the boss levels. Spider-man Noir is a little different and is very fun. There is less fighting and more stealth involved in his adventures. In fact, not wanting to call it a rip-off, I would say it is a hat tip to Batman Arkham Asylum. For those familiar with that game, Spider-man Noir has to avoid detection before taking down bad guys in much the same way Batman avoids the Arkham prisoners. There is even a boss level that is almost an exact duplication of Batman avoiding Scarecrows gaze when Spider-man must avoid that of Mysterio. If you like Arkham Asylum you definately will like Shattered Dimensions. I was not dissappoing at all with this game. The gameplay was at least as good as any game out there and the story line was a lot of fun.Lire l'avis complet...

My son is going to poop himself

My middle son has been asking for this game for like 3 years. Its incredibly hard to find used copies of in stores and he is a massive Spiderman fan. I'm more excited for him to be getting this game for Christmas than any other gift. Popped it in last night just to make sure it works and its freaking perfect. Thank you!Lire l'avis complet...

Great Game for Most Ages

You get to change which Spiderman you are and fight villains from the comic books and movies. I get to play as my favorite Spiderman (Symbiote Spiderman)

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions Review for Xbox 360

I bought this item as a late Christmas present for my son. The game itself if awesome. You navigate through different worlds in this game. You can also change the your spiderman it has a variety of different spidermans from old to new dress styles. You are to battle evil villans to proceed to the next level. I think there are 9 worlds. Once you have completed the worlds and all fo the quests, and villian you are done with the game. Its graphic designs are very detailed and realistic. You think you are actually spiderman defeating the villans and move to your next level of play. I don't regret buying the game my son loves playing it and I am very pleased with the price for all the action filled scenary.Lire l'avis complet...

A MUST PLAY FOR SPIDERMAN FANS

This game is great. The graphics were excellent. Hopefully this game it the template for future Spiderman games. The only complaint would be that it was too short. There are 12 levels and the characters were greatly displayed. Eight more levels would have made this a game of the year candidate. As is, expect 20 to 30 hours of gameplay.Lire l'avis complet...

Play as Noir Spiderman, Spiderman 2099, Black Suit Spiderman and the Spiderman we all know and love all in the same game? Incredibly fun!
