Much better than the stock radio
def a step up from the stock radio. feels better in your hand, and the response time is noticeably better.

Nice for the price
It is a nice radio for the price but if you drop your radios a lot or what some a little bit more rugged I would go with it DX5C Rugged, ... but it's $100 more.
