Not perfect but it helps
Might take some practice but it gets you close. For it to not be skewed you must be lined up exactly with the trailer. If you can't see the trailer it can be a chore. My name brand hitch did not have a flat enough place to stand the telescoping ball up exactly straight thus when the balls touched you were not under the hitch correctly. After some fiddling around I figured a way to work it so that when the balls touched you were pretty close. Like many trailers that disappear from view when backing up it can help. The telescoping mount could stand to be a tad taller. I suspect that some 4x4 might be too tall to see the balls, mine just barely was visible over the tailgate, Tell us more should have an OK column.Lire l'avis complet...

These are GREAT!!!
I love these things! I travel alone towing a 19' travel trailer and have always found it troublesome to hook up without trying 3-6 times! The first time I used these I managed to hook up my trailer on the first attempt. Easy as pie! Inexpensive, easy and lightweight to store, and super easy to use. Works well but fragile.
Works well but very fragile. Connection from magnetic base to shift broke off first time I removed from magnetic surface. I was able to repair using jb weld. Always remove by grabbing the magnetic base. Not the shaft.Lire l'avis complet...

Simple to use and store

Magnetic base holds it in place so it never moves!
These alignment balls are wonderful!! I could never back my truck up the first time to my gooseneck horse trailer without one. I only use one and place it in my truck bed about 3 - 4 inches in front of the ball, then just back up until the ball touches the front of the trailer and it is centered perfectly over the ball. They fall over. They don't work
They don't attach well to the truck or the trailer. The concept is great but if they don't stay standing they are useless.

I you do not have a backup camera buy this product. works great.
Line up my trailer much easier. saves me 6-7 times getting out of truck to see if I am lined up.
