Off the path fare that is worth taking a look.
Hi,
As someone working in the Scandinavian Studies field, I thought I had at least seen a copy of pretty much every book on the topic that was out there. I hadn't ever run across a copy of this book before. I usually don't pay much attention to books of this type, you know, the folksy coverage type of book on Vikings. Usually they bring little to the table, just re-telling the stories and info from other sources. It was cheap, so I took a chance.
I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked all the photos and the different (maybe fresh) point of view. I think it was worth getting for all of the nice photos alone. Just my two cents worth. If you like the subject, you might want to take the time to search out a copy and take a look.Lire l'avis complet...
