For the money it's a great product with great battery life.

I bought this product to fill a specific need of having an mp3 player while running. I had one nearly identical to this that just had issues and was annoying to use. For the price this was a nice little upgrade. From what I can tell the battery life isn't as good as my other one but it's still pretty good and will still last 2-3 weeks depending on usage. But it's a big step up in the user interface and just the ability to get back and forth between different artists and music. I love the Sony Walkman MP3 player. Sony is the brand that introduced the Walkman tape player some 40 years ago and this MP3 device is the updated version. More compact than the cassette player of the old days, this can can hold more music. It is only slightly bigger than a credit card and can fit comfortably in a shirt pocket. 'Sony Walkman NWZ-E394

'Sony Walkman NWZ-E394 was sent intead of the 354 madel . sender said it was a 385 better then the 354. well intell I get one I wont know. ( E394 battery lasted one day ) this one is a portable hard drive . you can send music albums from one mp3 to a nather mp3 with your pc. there are other cheaper mps that do the same thing for 20 dollars . this mp3 may have been over charged. Perfect little 8gb MP3 player at a low price.

I would absolutely recommend this to other people, its a cheap brand name MP3 player with great features. It only needs recharging once a week even when using it constantly, and the interface is not that cheapo hard to use interface. Everything is easy to get to, easy to understand, and has great features.

PROS: low priced well rounded MP3 player, great interface, drag and drop technology, 7gb of storage, very crisp screen, plays any resolution video 720p or lower, SensMe channels that will scan your music and create playlists for you, good FM radio, custom equalizer, and absolutely amazing battery life it will play for around 50 hours straight.

CONS: screen scratches relatively easily without a screen protector, and can accidentally be turned on by pressing any button but not really a problem with the sliding hold key. 1gb of storage is already in use by preloaded songs and the OS, 7gb is usable for personal storage.Lire l'avis complet...

compact, pleasing, affordable

even that i have had an mp3 player before, I did not used it much. But with 8 gb of space I was able to download almost all my file in it. It is more that I can listen in a whole week. I bought this product because the price thru ebay. I was upset because it will jump songs as I moved until I discover the lock button on it. what a difference that made. Used Sony walkman is satisfactory as per sellers description.

I had owned a Sony Walkman before and really enjoyed it. After it quit working I looked for a replacement (didn't want to spend the amount for a new one) I found this and purchased it.
After going to the Sony site I was able to down load what I needed and charged the unit. This unit preforms well the only problem is that the On/off switch is a little difficult to operate. Good quality player
It's 1/3 the price of a Ipod Nano but it has the same features!
You can choose the different equalization of the music.
The only thing that is not quite good is the video.
The video format is very weird
You gotta try multiple times to be able to play the video.
However, 50 bucks for a freaking good Music Player?
Why buy Apple when Sony has this excellent player for such a cheap price?(on ebay)

Long lasting music w/easy to manage songs & addt'l great features.

I bought the Sony Walkman since I needed an extended battery time. The old mp3-4 shut-off within two hours and looking for music was work. What I like most about the Sony Walkman, beside the extended battery, is that the music is easy to find. Quickly moves up, down, across, and there are also many other useful features.
