Easy! Powerful! Portable! Makes Sharing Your Life Online a Breeze.
I got a great deal on my Bloggie, and only paid $60 for it. I have never once had to look at the manual because it is so easy to use. Not only is it easy to use while doing pictures and videos, but it is also amazingly easy to transfer those to your comp! It plugs directly into the USB port and you're good to go. Easy peasy! Also, it's totally portable and comes with a great little carrying pouch. I have a Canon Rebel SLR, so I was always having the issue of lugging it around and worrying about breaking it because it was so expensive. The bloggie has 12 megapixels and also takes videos in HD, so it's portable but also takes high quality content. I now carry my Bloggie around everywhere I go and now I'm ready when those impromptu Kodak moments come up! It's got the best of both worlds; small yet poweful.
There are only 2 things I dislike about the Bloggie. The first is that the battery does not seem to last long. But, the Bloggie comes with a plug in charger so that you can charge it in any standard socket. Secondly, there is no light or flash on the Bloggie, so it is sort of useless in the dark. But, those are the only downsides to the Bloggie that I've found. All in all, those are things that I can overlook. But if you want to do a lot of pics or vids at night, I wouldn't recommend the Bloggie for you.
But if you don't mind those two things, then I'd say get the Bloggie. You won't regret it. It's a great little camera, and it makes sharing your life on your social networking sites so easy. Hope anyone who buys it likes theirs as much as I like mine!Lire l'avis complet...
Great idea but not for a tech novice.
It's a great concept,but it isn't easy to send pictures by E-mail. The Sony sight doesn't seem to support this model any longer. I wasn't able to create an account with Sony. The Bloggie itself is easy to use. Has decent picture and sound quality. Fun to use, but I wanted something that I could easily put pictures on Ebay, or send directly to my friends. Nice Camera, but cannot photograph ocean views - out put is MP4
I like the camera, but you cannot photograph ocean views. I bought the camera to photograph homes, as I am a Realtor. Many of the homes I photograph have ocean views, but with this camera the ocean does not show up- However, it may be possible that all of these types of cameras have the same issue. It may be because it is designed to photograph in low light. It also takes a while in low light to focus.
Overall it is a nice camera, but you cannot photograph a brightly lit subject. The “Sony upload” is terrible, but Youtube works great. It produces na Mp4 movie, with needs to be converted to avi to edit and back to mp4 to upload. If you never plan on edits it is fine and it is easy to convert. Also not sure if other cameras produce a mp4 movie, so nothing to compare to.Lire l'avis complet...
Sony Bloggie are so easy to use
Just received my Sony Bloggie today and I started shooting right out of the box without reading any manual, it's so easy to use and I can take photos while shooting a video, which was great. It's very light weight and small so I can take it anywhere to shoot HD videos. The only down side is that it doesn't include a flash and memory expansion slot.Lire l'avis complet...
Great little gadget for the money!!
Great little gadget except for the clicking I've been hearing about when you record video. Now you don't hear the clicking noise until you upload the video but it's a very nice little gadget. Fits in the hand and easy to pick up and use. Nice build quality. I found it easier to upload videos if you check it to upload later, it seems to upload faster than just syncing the unit to the computer and uploading that way. Touch controls are not capacitive, you have to apply a bit of pressure when you use the touch screen. If you can get over the clicking noise (not all units have this problem) that can be a bit of a pain for some videos then this is the gadget for you. Great product
This product is great because it will record in HD1080. It's small enough to fit in your pocket. It's made by Sony. It's very easy to use. Good quality pictures. I must say, The only negative is that it doesn't have a flash. The video comes out pretty good. Don't expect it to be the same quality as a high dollar camcorder but for the price, and the convenience of the size, I don't think you can go wrong. It also comes with the editing software built into the camera so when you plug it into a USB it automatically downloads it to your computer. Very easy to use. Excellent Device! Recommended for families.
We bought this camcorder about a week before the birth of our second little girl. We had a bulky handheld when our first girl was born and throughout her first 2 years of life. We knew there had to be a better way to take video of our family that was high quality and simple to take.
The Bloggie is the perfect device for this solution. If you're looking for a device that is compact, easy to use and take great videos this is the camera for you. Every video we've taken, inside and outside, has been crystal clear with great sound quality as well.
The Bloggie's integration with your computer is extremely simple as well. The device itself has an attached USB line that plugs directly into your computer. The process to upload videos to our blog, youtube account and facebook was so simple and exactly why we bought this camera.
My ONLY complaint is that, as far as I've been able to tell, you have no real control over the settings of the camera. Meaning, everything is adjusted automatically, but if you wanted to change the settings in a different lighting you're at the mercy of the camera's "auto-adjust" capabilities. But even still, we've had little issue with this.
Overall I would definitely recommend this device, especially for families with small children. I'm able to pull it out, be filming within seconds and then have the video on our blog within minutes. Definitely a great purchase!Lire l'avis complet...

This little video/camera even though it is from the 2010's is a fantastic little unit the photos are crisp and bright the videos are smooth and vibrant. The image stabilization really is a help as it is a light weight unit.
I find it easier to carry and use then my cell phone. It is instant on and ready to use. I also use this to help find good views for my expensive DSLR camera.

I loved the Bloggie. It was helpful for me for the type of use I need it 4
Good: Easy to use and navigate through the settings. Great picture quality, sound was better than average. The video capturing HD capability was crisp!!!!! I was pleased overall in it's quality and performance. The software that comes with it, or you can download, was very easy to use and great options to upload straight to youtube or facebook and other websites.
Bad: The battery life does not last long enough. I takes of sports cards on a regular basis and with a full battery it last maybe 2 hours the most. I don't if it's just my Bloggie but I won't be carrying this thing with me sight seeing without a USB outlet to charge it in. Luckily most places you go have such availability. Another bad thing is that I can't add a bigger Memory Flash Drive. What you buy is what you get. 8 Gig for my use is good enough, but if you were to use this for a video taking project then you might run out of battery life and memory space quicker than you want.
I also want to add to invest in a Mini Stand for this Bloggie. It's very useful to put anywhere, even in the smallest places to capture video or pictures.Lire l'avis complet...

I purchased this camera to record my husbands homecoming ceremony from Afghan, and I have to say I was not disappointed. It takes great video, you just have to be careful where you hold it so you don't cover the microphone. The picture quality is great, but there is no flash so low-light conditions aren't ideal.
