Admitedly, I missed this generation and just recently bought a PS3 after owning a PS4.
Too many great games exist on this console, which is a plus!!!
That being said, I don't understand how this was supposed to exist as a centerpiece of a home entertainment system. Simply put, the OS is slow.
This can make for a troubling experience. The graphics are alright. Sometimes even surprising. However, I will say that a lot of these poor experiences are dimished greatly with a hard drive upgrade. I put in an SSD and my world changed. If you can't afford one, at least go with a faster hard drive with a bigger capacity (maybe a hybrid). It's more surprising than the PS1, not as big of a leap as the PS2 (a classic) and less polished than the PS4 but has way more games. Do it if you're a hardcore gamer and If you have the funds. Good Quality

The durability of the product is reasonably high. The graphics are what most people would consider for a third generation console. This is the first generation that I'm aware of that happens to use both AV and HDMI for TV-based connection. The storage of these consoles are good, too. The games don't use a lot of data so you're able to save the majority of your games without any worry. The price is right for this being a bygone-era product. For the most part, I am satisfied with having a second PlayStation 3. Now I'm free to have more compatibility at home. The last good "console"

With next gen consoles these days trying to compete with pc gaming, using heavy amounts of downloadable content and great graphics its nice to have a console that does not require the player to pay to play online and still offer a solid gaming experience. Online handles well, the two usb ports is generally enough for my needs, 160 GB is plenty as I plan on owning many games in their disk form and owning this system for many years.
Was not aware of this, but when using a used system on a new display, it's important to hold down the power button on the system for about 4 seconds to cause a system reboot that reconfigures the video output/digital output of the device to work with that particular television.Lire l'avis complet...

Great game console as I Expected!!

An excellent deal as always on ebay. The only change I would like to see is more info on the title page. I thought this deal came with connecting wires and one controller for some reason. After it arrived and I went back and read the entire body of the description, there it was, NO connections or controllers with this console. I missed it the first time I read the description. All of the deals around this one included extras. I would just like to see more detail. My old eyes need all the help they can get. I would have ordered a product that included these.
