great image quality, lens, low light, color!
The image quality is amazing, The colors are true and beautiful. The low light is unmatched at 1.5 lux. The Minolta G series lens is smooth focusing and sharp as can be. It's a great camera for event photography or documentary. You can add on the Sony CF Card reader and foget about shooting tape anymore or use tape as a back-up.
Only drawback is that it doesn't have XLR inputs but for $150 you can mount a small unit on the bottom that has two XLR inputs ans still save $1400 with tax.Lire l'avis complet...
Sony HDR-FX 1000 still great in the 2020's

Filmed a wedding already.
Still learning the camera, but so far so good. Works fine with my iMac using iMovie. It is also capable of using cards for recording if you buy an accessory for it.
