This Little but Mighty Camcorder from Sony has really out done itself. DONT LET THE SMALL SIZE FOOL YA! It's Loaded with so many Gadgits that make every exposure look as if a Pro. has taken the Pictures and or Movies. And the Zoom Lens will leave you Breathless Zooming-Up on Subjects from 3/4s of a Mile away.(using a Tripod)
In my Life at 63 Years Old I have bought and owned alot of Cameras and must say they were all lacking one thing or another or too Brain Fisseling to figure out, thus not really being satisfied. But this Camera is EASY to use and has everything you could possibly want, and probably more. All I can say is buy one and YOU WONT BE SORRY. Its Great. Sony Handycam HDR-XR150 Camcorder

Sony has once again created a marvelous product. The touchscreen, HD 1080i video, the built in 3.1 megapixel camera, 25x Optical Zoom, the 120GB INSTALLED memory, as well as an additional SD Card slot for additional memory makes this model a must for video enthusiasts.

The design is simple and easy to use for any individual from filming family outings to sporting events. The motion stabilizer is a crucial feature I truly enjoy especially when filming sporting events and the built in camera is great for standard photos.

If anything I only wish that Sony could have increased the optical zoom up to a 60x-70x to really take advantage of the HD quality the handycam can produce as well as atleast make the built in camera a 8 mega pixel instead of the lower end 3.1 mega pixel.

I highly recommend this product for amateurs all the way to professionals. All in all, the Sony Handycam HDR-XR150 Camcorder is light, powerful, and most importantly easy to use.Lire l'avis complet...

Best HD camera for your money!

Awesome HD camcorder its smaller than my other ones but its just as good if not better. The touch sceen works great and it is easy to use. My camera did not come with an HDMI cord to use but it does come with the AV cables that you can use instead but I suggest you buy HDMI cable its just less cords you have to carry around and it looks alot better. You cannot record at night with this camera or in areas with very little light but other than that its a perfect camcorder!Lire l'avis complet...

Sony built a great product. awesome price

I've run 6 hours of video now and the handycam brings in clear and detailed color. easy to use. and the battery was the long life one and it shoot for 3 hours for a dance no problem. Great price I'll be getting one more Sony in the future to shot with. ThanksLire l'avis complet...

great product

lightweight, very small, decent battery life, great picture and a ton of options built in. it will even track the faces on a tv screen. thats how sensitive and accurate this camera is

Sony Handycam HDR-XR150 HDD ERROR E:31:00 Don't buy!!!

Do not buy any Sony Hard drive camcorders.
You will risk your precious moment lost because of the HDD Error.
I used this one only for 2 times and just when I wanted to delete the video by date. The screen was showing recovering data... and then ... HDD ERROR code E:31:00.
Cannot format the hard drive. Cannot do anything. Had to return it.
