This IS indeed a WONDERFUL rugged & durable phone for SPRINT & unlocked for GSM. However, it IS EXTREMELY misleading & a possible Google OpenSource violation. It has a PROPRIETARY version of Android. Which means it's supposed to be Android compatible but is NOT. You can NOT sync contacts, calendar, email, etc. with your Google account & you can NOT install Android apps (APK) even though it has "Allow Unknown Sources" active (possible violation of Google OpenSource usage agreement). SONIM has started dis-allowing individual installations of apps, on their devices, which also may be an A.D.A. (Americans with Disabilities Act) violation. Significantly better in just about everyway than the XP5700 that it replaced. Very happy with the purchase, works well and does everything you'd want out of a Sonim
