Nice job on the new album Kiss!

I didn't know what to expect. The CD set is worth the price just for the new music included. It also includes a CD with many of their older songs, and a DVD recorded in Buenos Aires.
The newest music is true to the sound of the band back in the '70s. It makes me want to crank up the volume. Tommy Thayer has captured the Ace Frehley style perfectly on the lead guitar. Don't expect any great poetry from the lyrics. It's the same old boy meets girl, let's get together themes.
By the way, Gene and Paul still sound great on vocals.Lire l'avis complet...

Great KISS Album

This is really a good album. The new music is just GREAT. Great riffs, sold vocals, guitars and drums! I think this is the best KISS album of all time. I also like the fact KISS re-recorded some of the best hits using modern recording technologies and included Eric Singer (one of the best drummers in the business) and Tommy Thayer on guitar. I still love that original music as well and now ever note is crystal clear. Great sounding.

Received item but not as expected

Item came in a decent time frame and seemed to be new and wrapped but wonder if resealed as top of plastic open with discs poking out slightly. Do not remember this being mentioned in description. a real bargain.

listened to this for the very first time all the way thru today, ironically paul stanley's birthday(60th). for him to be able to still sing like he does is nothing short of incredible. you know how when you listen to a release a track or two stand out as something you like right off the bat? well that track for me is apropriately called "stand". i'm sure the other tracks will grow on me with each additional listen. the fact that you get a greatest hits cd and a live concert dvd included makes this a real bargain for the price i paid.Lire l'avis complet...

Kiss Sonic Boom

The first album released by Kiss since Psycho Circus came out eleven years ago. And I must say they didn't disappoint. Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer did the band justice on their first album together. Eric Singer has been with Kiss on and off since Revenge and he proved he still has what it takes. Every single song on the album is a hit. They did the entire album with analog recording. Boom is Bomb

Was great to see Kiss have this much enthusiasm in them at the time of Boom’s release. This is a fun record. Gene is in top form. Not a bad track on it.
