Super Sonic Racing!

Think of it as Mario Kart without the incredibly annoying items. If you like Sega at all, get this. Even if you don't care for Sonic, it's not exactly a Sonic game. It's actually a part of a Sega crossover series called Sega Superstars, they just changed the name so the game would sell a little better. Though to be honest, the sequel is better, so if you had to choose between the two, go for Transformed. Sonic & Sega All-Star's racing is a great kart racing game. In my opinion, any fan of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing will like this game.

The game has 24 tracks, 20 something characters, 64 "missions", 6 grand prix events, and time-trial mode with a leaderboard for every track.

The tracks are fun and unique. The one they give you in the demo is somewhat boring in comparison with some of the other tracks.

The 64 "missions" can be anything from winning a race, hitting targets, collecting coins along a track, drifting to earn points, avoiding a bunch of obstacles on a track (that aren't normally there), etc.

The 6 grand prix events are similar to what you would see in Mario Kart. There is 4 races in each prix and the overall winner at the end gets the cup. There are 6 of these and you can play them on any difficulty (Beginning,Advanced,Expert).

The online play is fun too. You can join a public game or host a private game with your friends. Unfortunately there is no ranking system. But, it is still a lot of fun and there isn't a lot of lag. Lots of people seem to be playing it too.

Overall this is a very solid game. If anyone cares, this is also easy gamerscore. Also, the addition of 4 player splitscreen is very nice.

SEGA delivers a fun kart-racing game!

Great family oriented game: from the colors/ graphics, character designs, & course layouts it's easy to tell this game is geared towards a general audience & not hardcore gamers. The challenge is set low so younger kids will get a challenge while still being able to succeed with practice & a little luck. Mature gamers (adults) may find this game easy to play & pick-up, but it's also a great way to earn some gamerpoints for your gamerscore on XBox.

Nothing in this game goes beyond the movie "PG" rating so parents shouldn't be afraid to pick this game up for their kids. Until Mario Kart comes to XBox this'll have to do... & it does excellent!Lire l'avis complet...

Great Multiplayer Game!

I was looking to see if there was a MarioKart for the Xbox 360 but, it seems that they did not make it for this gaming system. Reminds me of Mario-Cart

This is a great game. It reminds me a lot of Mario-cart, back in the SNES days, only this time with Sega characters. It's similar in that you have a variety of stars from different games, battling each other while racing. Along the race you pick up "weapons" and use them to slow down the other racers.

You win cash for races won, and can use it to unlock new race tracks, characters, and music.

Would buy again

Had transformed, still like that better, but this precursor game is pretty good. Has its own vibe and is different. Not disappointed.

Brand new game cheaper than used price at game stores!
