Lioness Rampant

The last in the Lioness Quartet, Lioness Rampant ties up the loose ends and weaves adventure and intrigue together with a nice touch of romance. Tamora Pierce has become one of my favorite authors, and though her books are often found in the 'young adult' section, they are a refreshing read for adults as well as teens.Lire l'avis complet...

song of the lioness quartet review

alana is a young headstrong girl who wants to form her own path as a night. her identical twin brother thom wants to become a powerful sorcer, but there father does not care about what they want so he pland to send thom to become a night and alanna to become lady. but the micheviose twins trade places, alana pretending to be a boy under the name of alan and her brother going as he was, because to go to alanas school you do not have to be a girl to learn sorcery. in the next two books you follow alanas journey through pain, her tribes, war, discovery and love.Lire l'avis complet...

ouch!

The other 3 was great, but this? the last but is the most dissapointing. I guess as the other said already, this book is basically just a repetition to the first book.... (pierce's out of story?) anyways... one that i can't approve of is Alanna sleeping with 3 different men despite her already being George's girlfriend. With George it was acceptable, despite the a bit too quick change of heart. But with Liam??? and i thought this is for teens.... bad education.Lire l'avis complet...

A great completion to the lioness series.

I bought this book as a completion to my set of lioness books. I read the first book over 20 years ago and fell in love with the characters. This book finishes the story of Alanna the young knight and leads us in to more of the series that involve characters and places I fell in love with in this series of books.Lire l'avis complet...

Lioness Rampant

This is a good read for young adult and adult alike. It is well written with a solid plot and intriguing characters. This book wraps up the end of a series but could be enjoyed nearly as greatly as a stand alone novel. Pierce knows her craft.Lire l'avis complet...

Wonderful adventures

A wonderful series for girls especially. One of my fave childhood reads. I might be a bit to old for them now, but they'll do for up around 16. Strong caracters and a well thought through magical universe.Lire l'avis complet...

Productive Pierce

I almost didn't want to start this book for fear it would be the end of Alanna. But Pierce is masterful; she brings back familiar character in other books at opportune times. I love this book and I love the ending...no, new beginning to our favorite heroine.Lire l'avis complet...
