Not easy by any means.

It is not as easy to set up as they say. This was a replacement for a damaged controller and we had to get the company who installed the shade come out, which cost us $100. It took 2 men approx 1.5 hours. They tried 4 attempts to pair it with no success and they said the alternative may be to replace the motor for $850. We said there is nothing wrong with the motor, the remote was left out in the rain when it broke, so it's not the motor. In any event on the 5 try of pairing it worked.
