They do what they're supposed to do!

I purchased these to use during the soldering of new bulbs into an almost-40 year old solid state tuner. These worked magnificently! After I had soldered in a bulb, I felt this clip to check and it retained a lot of the heat. If that heat had made it to my new bulbs, it likely would have broken them.Lire l'avis complet...

Alligator clips

I bought these to use as heat sinks. They work fine; however, I would prefer clips with no tapper because it would be easier to align electronic components before soldering.

Great Soldering Heatsink - Really conducts heat away from component quickly

I started using these as a soldering heat sink and realized what a great tool these were. I never would have thought to use copper alligator clips before as in school we always used the little cheapo aluminum clips that looked like clothes line pins, and after using these alligator clips I would never use them again!

These stay in place better, and due to their solid copper design the displace the heat way better then aluminum keeping sensitive components safeLire l'avis complet...

Decent heat sinks for soldering

You can also solder some copper wire onto the leads to further increase heat capacity.

Cheap way to pull off heat

I bought these for soldering, they are cheap and work great to pull heat away from the wire after I'm done with my solder.
