Stunning! And the movie's not bad either!

The centerpiece of this film is the evil Queen Revenna (the beautiful Charlize Theron)who makes the most of the character's dark, evil personality. AS the marketing for the film states, this is a dark film, 180 degrees away from the original Disney version. You can see influences from "Star Wars" and "Lord of the Rings." There are great CGI effects with some of the more subtle ones having the greatest impact. Chris Hemsworth (from "THor") gets to stretch his human side more here as the Huntsman. You might say that Kristen Stewart makes the perfect Snow White here as she has the experience to sleepwalk through a role. A small spoiler; Revenna doesn't go out with a big enough bang. All in all, an enjoyable film with great Blu ray picture and sound that stands up to repeated viewings.Lire l'avis complet...

Good story with a great cast.

This movie is usually available on TV. But I hate cut up movies and commercials. This was a good movie to add to our collection.
