Review of Snow Flower & the Secret Fan

I loved the book and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. I felt so incredibly sad for Snow Flower for her life and in the end, the lack of support & love from Lily.

I enjoyed the movie BUT found it somewhat confusing with the story going back and forth from modern to old times. The ending was a surprise, but at least that ended happily.Lire l'avis complet...

This is a Fan - No Pun Intended - tasting Movie about Real True Lifetime Forever Frienship and Honor. I Love this movie so much! I had it saved on my DVR System and I have watched it 3 times already. Slightly different than the book in a good way

Great story that blends the present and past to make the viewer feel the emotions that bind two women through life's highs and lows. Strong visually and exceptionally well directed.

If you love history you will love this movie!

Absolutely beautiful. Reminds me of Memoirs of a Geisha. Women have come and progressed a very long way. This movie is steeped in old Eastern Asian Traditions wrapped in love and Sisterhood. Happy to add to my collection. Worth every penny!!Lire l'avis complet...
