Book is great for explaining all the reasons for calling 911 . An easy read for first grader, easy understanding and touch tone is nice feature.

Wonderful book if it was working....

I have already purchased this book 4 times though ebay and have not been able to find a working copy. There is no way to replace the batteries on it which is why I had to replace my original copy. I love the book and wanted to share it with my daughters daycare but can not seem to find another working copy. All four times I was issued a full refund and told to donate the book but I would really like a working copy. I wish the batteries could just be changed it is a wounderful educational book that can save lives. A++ Emergency Prepearedness Must-Have

My 4 year old and 19 month old love this book. They are catching on quite fast about 9-1-1. My oldest already knows what to say to the operator if he ever needs to call. The book itself makes it extremely easy to teach them the emergency 9-1-1 number to call. Actually, it makes it easy to teach them how to call and recognize other numbers as well. It's a shame the book is no longer in print. Thank God I found it listed on eBay. As for my 19 month old he is learning not only the 9-1-1 emergency but number recognition altogehter. I rate this book a MUST-HAVE for emergency preparedness of your children. By the way what is not usually mentioned is that the book buzzes when the incorrect number sequence is entered and sounds the emergency bells and voices when the correct sequence is entered.Lire l'avis complet...

9-1-1 Book - Excellent for toddlers!

I decided to purchase this book after seeing a news report about how a toddler knew what to do when he saw his mother in trouble. The boy saved his mothers life by knowing how to call 9-1-1.
My children absolutely love this book and the key pad on the front has musical numbers to help them learn what to dial in an emergency.
It is a great teaching tool and I wish that all schools had something like this to read to students.
Hopefully my children will never have to dial 9-1-1 but if they do, they know what to do.Lire l'avis complet...

Every mother should buy this for their toddler

This book actually saved a woman's life, when she went into cardiac arrest and her little 2 year old remembered to dial 911 because he had read about it in this book. It's all illustrated and kid friendly. Any child can easily follow along with all the bright coloured illustrations, friendly characters and not to mention educational and informative stuff.
