Collection worthy.
Original/Old ideas.
Years ago I read this book and loved it. I have been looking for a copy that was decently priced for years. The future world that Greg Bear creates is so easy to believe. Nano technology, sex straight to you brain, cover ups, government agencies, clandestine operations, futuristic weaponry, but my personal favorite is the toilets that talk to you. At first glance it all sounds so unrealistic. But when you think about it, its really not so far fetched. This is (in my opinion) Greg Bear's finest work.
SPOILER ALERT:
Organic computers are not far off, you can read about the work some are doing, on the internet.
Not another "Terminator" story.

Excellent book by Greg Bear! This is the sequel to the book "Queen of Angels" and contains the continuing exploits and adventures of Mary Choy. Like most Greg Bear sequels, "Slant" manages to improve on the previous book. Highly recommended.Lire l'avis complet...
