It was easy to use and I was able to fix my problem and use my dress, but a bit difficult to get a bit thick fabric under the needle, otherwise I love it.

Curiosity didn"t kill the cat. (I got me the singers sewing machine after 20 years of wanting it).

Upon receiving my new sewing machine, I read the instructions and I began to sew my projects that came out wonderful. Thank you.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Worked long enough to learn to use it but then it quit stitching. I checked the tension; it seemed fine. The instructions had NO troubleshooting section. Very basic instructions equivalent to a little over 1 sheet (8"x11") print paper. It's cheaply made in spite of the Singer name. Lire l'avis complet...

Great for scrapbooks

I bought this hand held sewing machine at Walmart a few months ago and I wanted to share my experience.

This item is good, but the thing is...if you read the box, it does say that it is great for scrap booking. (Designs on felt and other crafts.)

If you try to sew a wristband or sew a button back onto your shirt, please keep in mind that it will unravel. Troubleshooting did not help; turns out that is how it is supposed to work. (I even contacted their customer support and they let me know that it really wasn't meant for clothes.) Tying the end will not prevent the unraveling. Once you run your finger across the stitch work, it will come loose bit by bit.

Anyway, it WILL work.

Good learning tool

Not worth it

Only a bit useful if u don't have a sewing machine. I bought it so I did not have to set mine up for small jobs but hemming denim proved a major task. For it it is useless

SINGER STITCH SEW

I have only used this once but it performed satisfactorily. As far as longevity I can't say having used it only once but it certainly is portable and fine for small seam repairs. I am happy with the product.Lire l'avis complet...

Very happy

For the cost of getting a pair of pants hemmed - this unit does an excellent job with just a little practice. Obviously for expensive dress pants I would still go to a seamstress but for jeans, sweats or even a teeshirt, this device has paid for itself in the first use!Lire l'avis complet...

Convenient use

I love the fact that I can hem a curtain while it is still hanging. Very easy to use and convenient.
