**Lots of fun**Great for parties**

This is the second SingStar game I purchased. I also have SingStar Pop. They are the most dorky fun you can have!!! By the time the first song is sung, everyone will be laughing and ready to grab the mic! You have the option of singing solo, duet,battle, or pass the mic.

'Pass the mic' is for parties or larger groups of people. You play rounds and are presented with singing challenges like duets or battles. It changes each time so you don't know what you will be doing.

'Solo' singing is, well, just that. you can sing by yourself. For all options (solo, duet, etc) you can choose easy, medium, or hard singing difficulty; as well as your song length--full length song or a shorter, edited version. The shorter version is a good choice if you are just starting out (to get more comfortable with the game) and also if you are playing with groups.

'Duet' singing is my favorite. You can duet any song. Each person has their own mic (red and blue) and when the lines come up it shows exactly who will be singing it. If they are both going to sing a line together, it is in green. Very easy to follow. It shows the upcoming line before you sing it so you know exactly who's line it is. They duet is really fun.

'Battle' is when both players sing the same song at the same time. They earn points on how well they stayed on track.

This game has fun options like 'Playback'. You can listen to you own voice when you finish a song to see how well (or not so well!) you did. You can even save your song.

It has pitch and timing bars across the top of the screen to go along with the words. The closer you are to the bars, the more points you earn.

One of the things I really like about the SingStar games is that the original music video is playing along with the song for most of the songs. There are a few (really very few) videos that didn't play. It just had a picture of the artist on it. I guess they couldn't get the licensing rights or something for those few. But most are the full music videos. That is fun, especially when you really like the song or artist.

There is nothing I dislike about this game. Oh ok, just one thing...I haven't found any 'cheat codes' for the SingStars. I was hoping to unlock some 'hidden songs' but no luck! LOL!! You will love this!Lire l'avis complet...

Singstar Makes you an American Idol in your own home

The Singstar series is great fun for the whole family and a great entertainment for your friends. Sing along while the actual video's from the songs play on the screen. Only a few songs dont have the actual original video's but its still one of the best family friendly games around. Family fun!

I love that this game is appropriate for all ages. It's funny to see my 9 year old "censor" herself on "Rednck Woman" woman though. She won't say "Hell yeah" and she swears she gets less points for it. lol. My husband can't sing,(and probably shouldn't) but even he will play this game. The Johnny Cash songs are right up his alley! Tons of fun. I can't wait to play this with a bunch of people at a party.Lire l'avis complet...

I love to sing karaoke. This product lets you know if you can or should not in public lol. All in good fun.

Game is fun as can be!!!

Singstar Country (Play station2)

I like to sing country that is why I choose the country singstar. I've only played it once but found it easy to use. Kids I let play loved it. It has a nice selection of well known songs.
