In Shrek the Third, players adventure as Shrek and his friends to save Far Far Away in a hilariously twisted fairy tale from the movie and beyond.
Shrek the Third uses some great wii remote features and the battles and stunts required to complete each level are fun and challenging

Fans play as their favorite heroes from the film: Shrek, Donkey, Puss-in-Boots, Fiona(My Personal Favorite), Fiona’s rebellious cousin Arthur and her fellow fairy tale heroine Sleeping Beauty.

The game takes players on an epic journey through the worlds of Far Far Away after Prince Charming storms the city with an army of villains in order to seize the throne. Players are challenged to rescue pals, face off against Charming’s henchmen, gather collectibles, test their gaming skills in numerous boss fights and engage in a horde of minigames.

Players travel through the epic Shrek universe in 20 peril-filled movie-based and game exclusive levels such as Academy Grounds, Evil Queen’s Castle (game exclusive), Pirate Ship and more. Players will interact with characters from the film as well as new, game-exclusive characters.

Players learn to use each character’s special abilities and skills including Shrek’s “Ogre Power”, Fiona’s “Flying Kick”, Puss N’ Boots “Cute Puss”, Sleeping Beauty’s sleeping “Swoon” attack, and Artie’s “Power of Excalibur.” Epic boss battles draw fans further into the Shrek universe as they defend the kingdom of Far, Far Away against Prince Charming and his bumbling band of down-and-out fairytale friends.

The game includes multiplayer minigames: Castle Capture, Shrekleboard, Frog Herder, Shooting Gallery, Catacombs Leap and Ships Ahoy.

Shrek the Third

A MUST HAVE GAME. Good for all skill levels. There are several tasks inside each stage to complete and at least 3 stages per level. one can play each stage as many times as one likes complete one task a run through or all task in one try. I really like that one can select which level and stage to play at any time. One doesn't have to start the whole game over. Collect money to buy helps that make it easier to play the harder levels. Good graphics, sound and colors. Mini games are fun with easy replay or change game menu. My 8 year old grandson has as much fun with it as I do.Lire l'avis complet...

Great kids ages 4 and 6 as well as myself enjoy this game. Easy to play fun lots of movement to wear kids out keep them busy!

Cute game

Cute game. The only negative is that the main game play of Shrek the third is one player unlike Shrek Forever After

Not the greatest video game.

The reason why I bought this game was because of my son. He is only 10 months old, and he loves Shrek already! When Shrek is on the tv his attention/focus is directed towards Shrek and my wife and I can relax and have some peace since we don't have to hold him, play with him, feed him..etc. Do what he wants to stay happy and not cry. So I bought this game thinking that I could get that same focus and peace with the movies and also get to play a video game without having the wife complain. The graphics are kinda low, the story telling of the game kinda seems lame...it isn't really that great of a game. But it does hold my son's focus a bit which is what I wanted. I enjoy the farting special attach move that Shrek does....that was hilarious! But this is really a game for young kids, it is overly simple for any adult to play.Lire l'avis complet...

Shrek the Third (Wii)

We rented this game and we bought it for our boys aged 12 and 4. They had to have it!

Overall, the game suits all ages and can be enjoyed by the entire family. Reading skills aren't required for a youngster - so long as someone is around to assist with reading and relaying the initial control features.

The graphics are better quality than other character games we have seen. I believe all the voices are of the original cast. (Not the case in a lot of other games!) You don't play the as the same character in all levels. There are levels where you play as Fiona, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Donkey and of course, Shrek.

It helps to look up a playing guide online so you can help the kids along with different tasks in the levels. It certainly helped me jumping in there and help out our 4 year old on a couple of occasions without me having the benefit of knowing exactly what to do (continuous jumps, etc.).

The only problem I had with this game is I have no idea how to add another controller for the multi-player mode. Still don't have a clue after trying everything I know prior to loading the game, tried adding it in the main menu... still can't manage it! So, it's lost on me!

Shrek the Third (Wii)

I bought this game for the Wii a couple weeks ago. The game controls are fairly easy and straight forward. The game switches between character from the movie so you have different skills you use for each character. Changing characters keeps it more interesting and keeps you from getting bored with the same one.
The only thing I have found that I don't like about this game so far is that there is NO CAMERA CONTROL, which makes it difficult to accomplish some of the tasks....it's kinda hard to jump to something you can't really see clearly or you see at an angle. otherwise the game has been fun so far.Lire l'avis complet...

Non working game

It works up until you select new game or load game and then it completely stops working. It would be nice to get what I paid for.

Finally a game 2 get kids moving

My daughters are 9 and 13 and they both enjoy this game. It is nice that nintendo came out with a game console to get people off their couches. My kids love the "boxing" action on this game and the feeling like they are really doing something and getting a workout. Graphics could be a little better on this game but it is one of the less expensive WII games so I really can't complain. Overall GOOD game!Lire l'avis complet...
