Great book, accurate and detailed history of those who served as shotgun messengers for Wells Fargo in the days when the west was still wild up until 1918 when American Railway Express took over the company. Their whose story has never been told, between 1852 and 1915 at least 53shotgun messengers died in the line of duty.
