Literally one of the best games I've ever played
I already beat the game a couple years ago, just bought another copy for a friend. The intro is brilliantly deceptive and its conclusion is one of my peak gaming experiences of all time, and after that the game continues to be one of the most breathtaking RPGs I've ever played. It's atmospheric, with extremely solid use of the 3D function even if the game is marred with low resolution textures, it's got fantastic music, the battles are extremely satisfying yet at times brutally difficult, much like any SMT game, which is something I learned after playing this one; it was my first.
If you don't know what this series is about, I practically beg you to jump into this game without looking anything up... Well, maybe you should know that STR is broken and if you want to use physical attacks just invest in DEX instead. But other than that, until after you've played through the intro (and believe me you'll know when that ends) google might be your worst enemy in terms of spoilers.
If you are familiar with the series, you can be sure that this is one of the best games in it. Despite lacking dungeon design this game is almost all I could want out of SMT.Lire l'avis complet...

Great JRPG
I have never played a persona game before or any of the spinoffs so this was my first taste. I always read about how difficult the shin megami tensei series was and I was pretty excited to try it out. It definitely lives up to the hype and I really enjoyed the fusion system and combat. I need to play through it again to get more of the story I sort of rushed it the first time, but I am excited to go through it again. Nice setting. Great demon collecting. Visuals and monster models are very nice. Plenty of quests and challenge. Bad over world map/UI turns portions of the game into a slog. Really detracts from the pacing of the game. Overall above average game. B!Lire l'avis complet...

One of the best Dungeon Crawlers and RPGs on the 3DS, coming out early on the 3DSs lifespan. I would recommend this game to more people in any given situation, but I don't think a Church would like to hear I have summoned Beelzebub to fight the ultimate evil enemy of the Samurai.

Arrived perfectly and as described, at an affordable price too.
Finally a game Ive wanted for so long at a price that isn't insane. Not just it was affordable but everything inside was in pretty good quality, sure the box holding it all is a little damaged (which is understandable because its a pretty old game) but everything inside like the booklet, soundtrack, gamebox with game was all in perfect condition to my eyes and that's enough to put a smile to my face. The best JRPG for 3DS
I bought the game way back 2015 I think because I just wanted to clear my funds but when I played it I didn’t understand it so I put it down. Then COVID happen and one day I was bored and tried this game again. Lo and behold, the first chapter is unforgiving but this is what I crave for from a game. It questioned my sanity. Am I dumb or is the game too hard. Also the music oh my lord ‘chef’s kiss’ the best music in annnnyyyy video games I’ve played in my entire life. I will cherish this game forever.

IV is the Best

Great RPG
Another Shin Megami title , a very good game. Takes a bit of getting used to the controls and concept but once you're rubbed in everything is great.
