Shimano Quality
Shimano knows how to build quality reels of varying sizes function. I have a couple of Stella's and wanted to go with a bait caster which was salt water friendly since I fish in Chesapeake bay mostly.

Shimano raises the bar with the Metanium MGL 2020.
Everyone has preferences and this reel is almost perfect for me. It's very smooth and casts with ease. The build quality is top notch. It has a solid rugged feel to it but it's buttery smooth. Shimano Hi-End Reel, top quality!
Very light, fantastic ergonomics, butter smooth cranking, excellent casting, nice drag, but has it’s price. For Shimano Hi-End reels fans, a must have for bass fishing.

It’s a lightweight powerhouse that’s silky smooth.
Fits in your hand like a dream when palming. Casts incrediblely far and retrieves as smooth as silk. The reel also feels very solid and it should be very durable.

Before this Metanium 2020 I had ordered another one from JapanTackle and it came in. The gears were so buttery smooth.
