Seymour Duncan Everything Axe Pickups
I own 25 or so guitars, outfitted with a wide variety of pickups, from stock to custom, so I have the opportunity to compare the sound of various pickups. My comparisons are not technical in nature. I rely solely on my ear. I have Seymour Duncan pickups on two other guitars and they have always sounded great, so when I decided to change out the pups in one of my Strats, I opted to go with SD's. I stumbled across the Everything Axe set on ebay & thought I couldn't go wrong with this set up. I was right. Installation was fairly easy, although I had to enlist my wife to do the soldering because I'm no good at it. Anyway, after the installation, I immediately plugged her in (the guitar, not my wife) and I was not disappointed in the least. These pups sound terrific and switching around to different combinations provides a wide variety of tones and flavors. In short, I like 'em and they are staying in place in this guitar. As I said earlier, in my experience, you just can't go wrong with Seymour Duncan pups. My only complaint is the price, but that's because I am a cheap skate. The Everything Axe set is worth the price. Oh, one last comment. Appearance is also important to me. These are beautiful little pups. I went with the cream color and mounted them on a black pick guard on a butterscotch colored Strat with gold hardware. The finished product looks like a million bucks. Size-wise, the SD pups are exactly the same size as stock Strat sc pups, so no mods to the pick guard are necessary. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this product.Lire l'avis complet...

Hot rod set
These are the best pick ups I have used. I have them in another guitar also and they are fantastic! Pinch harmonics ring out in both the neck and bridge position. Sound awesome clean or running thru distortion. Huge array of tones thru these pick ups! Warm and Articulate
If your looking for a pickup to bring vibrancy to the neck position, the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover SH-55n is a great choice. I've found it to have exceptional clarity on each string with sparkle on the top end, a strong, but smooth midrange and a nice, tight bass for an overall, well-balanced harmonic response. Sentient is a great all around neck pickup for many styles.
Player for 45 years and this is one of the most versatile neck pickups I have ever used.
Very sweet and full clean tones with clarity and a very nice split voice. Really nice singing solo tone at gain and also a very clear warm and articulate pickup at high gain without getting muddy.
Seymour Duncan is seriously miss marketing this one as just a pickup for modern metal. It's so much more than that as is a fantastic smooth clear articulate pickup that will cover a lot of tonal territory. They also are killing themselves here by only offering it in the black matt bobbins with dark polls unless you pay an up-charge for a floor custom.Lire l'avis complet...

Duncan Mini Humbucker
Great pickup for those looking for single coil flavor in a quiet package. Louder than a single coil but balances well with p90s or full sized humbuckers. I use it in the neck position mostly.

Clear and present attitude.
I've been searching for a great pickup for a while. I've tried completely custom ones, modified stock ones and a slew of completely stock models from many, many brands in my quest to find a sound that I didn't think needed to be changed or tweaked. The Pegasus has proven to have a very unique voice that I don't think needs to be modified. Clean or dirty it can be just as sweet or nasty as you'd like it to be and has ridiculous clarity at all times. Clear and round top-end, bold and tight low-end and mids that are relaxed but full of their own character. It has the right amount of punch/pick attack without being obnoxious. The overall power of the pickup is in a rather sweet spot for me. SD classifies it as high-output, but the relaxed midrange keeps it from dirtying up too quickly. THESE PIUCKUPS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR 7 STRING GUITARS
I have tried many types of pickups for 7 String guitars but these by far have the best overall tone and warmth and distortion i love recomend these picups to anyone playing 7 or 8 string guitars

Seymour Duncan; a great pup, yet not for my particular guitar wood/ progressive metal/ rock application.
I installed the Pegasus in my new Ibanez RGD3127 and played it for a half hour before re-installing the original DiMarzio that the guitar came with; which is actually perfectly voiced for the guitar (Ibanez got it right).
Having said that, The Seymour Duncan Pegasus is a very "open" sounding pup, which I think would be excellent in a Mahogany body guitar, and for clean, jazz, Djent and fusion styles.

Seymour Duncan nailed it with this pickup. It sounds fantastic.
I took a chance on this pickup after reading some reviews. It sounds like Jimmy Page actually had something to do with the specifications because it sounds smooth and open and not overwound. If you want sustain for days when you barely brush a note then this pickup isn't for you.
