Burnt Toast

Having just reviewed Red Road(which I loved) I turn to this (which I didn't).I suppose if I liked this,I wouldn't be who I am,and perhaps if I were some other person,I might-but I'm doubtless struggling to be kind.In the sense that any bit of media may be viewed as propaganda,and the question asked "What is the central message of this?"this movie may be useful to some for the message that sexual behaviour sans well-considered ethics may prove painful-But allow me to insist that cookie cutters are for baking and what may prove ideal for each particular individual is that individual's discovery,and anyone else having an opinion is absurd.With apologies to the cast,I found the characters in this film loathesome,pitiful and having suffered through this find it very difficult not to wish them completely miserable.While swingerism may be inappropriate for me,vapid,blugeoning,preacherly steaming tripe like this film serves only to trigger my misanthropy.Lire l'avis complet...

Sex & Breakfast?

I was impressed because the movie did touch subjects that are never really appropriate for today's conversation, but it also provided the alternative tidbits to consider. For example.. pursuing your own path selfishly could hurt or drive your partner away. Ignoring your partner's requests can drive your partner away.. and true love has a tendency to prevail. I wasn't disappointed that there wasn't that much sex because I don't ever remember seeing that the movie promised to be a porno. I was satisfied with the experience.Lire l'avis complet...

Dvd Review

I bought it, I watched it, I put it on the shelf.

Under and over

What should have been a great story was buried underneath a poor exploration of that story, one that tried to in too many different directions at once, that skimmed the surface when it should have plunged deeply into the questions.

It looked great, it sounded great, but the result laced substance.

Love Eliza! The movie is a little slow, but good acting. The uneasiness and dislike is very believable. I think Eliza's character made the wrong decision at the end.
