Best internal hybrid hard drive for PS4 @ PS4 Pro
FireCuda delivers what it promise. This small form factor internal hybrid hard drive that merge both solid and regular hard drive make this hard drive as fast as a solid state drive (SSD). It boots games on my PS4 Pro faster than the rest of the competition. I previously own an SSHD from seagate but this one is about 25% faster and holds an outstanding 1.9tb of 2tb advertised for the PS4 after installation with no games. This will save you so much storage for games that i don't need to upgrade anymore. Slow for me. Not necessarily the drive's fault.
This drive can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to work fast or slow. I've seen transfer speeds as slow as 700KB/s while transferring a single 1 Gb file. However, I'm not entirely blaming the drive, there are many other factors in play too. (Though with an i7-7700HQ and 16 Gb Ram. Other than that sole thing, this is a great little drive. Review of the SSHD
I have replaced my older Toshiba 1tb hard drive with SSHD, I've seen no issues of apparent failure (something I read was common for other people). The write and read speeds are immensely faster than my older Hard drive. Perfect Playstion 4 Upgrade Hard Drive
A friend at work turned me on to this deal for an upgrade for my PlayStation 4. I watched a few videos on YouTube that showed me how to swap and transfer all my old data to my new hard drive. Received a brand new hard drive ahead of schedule. I put it in the laptop and the size is right. I took it and installed it, replacing the hard drive in my original computer. Great speed and capacity!
This drive is the best of both worlds, great SSD burst speeds and fast large file storage and access speeds as well. My vote for best bang for the buck.

Nice unit
The transfer rate is an average 125MB/s but faster from an SSD, it does get warm though, it is a difference from a conventional hdd because everybody likes stuff to work faster. I'm using it for storage in my Alienware so it wont work very hard. Of course I have a Samsung 500GB 860EVO M.2 that is the C Drive so it starts like a snap but I wanted a reliable yet fast hdd and I think this is it.Lire l'avis complet...

Fast and easy to install!
Use Seagate Discwizard software, to clone the old drive or partitions easily. I transferred a 256 GB SSD, to this drive easily. I just couldn't afford a higher capacity SSD right now, but this drive is very close to what it was! Close enough to put a big smile on my daughter's face, now that she can use the computer again, lol! I'm an experienced tech, (knocked out of work due to serious health issues) so this was very easy for me to do.
