Simple install, electric power required, physically large drive.
I plugged it into a server, and it worked. If you can plug in a USB cable and power cord, you can use this device. It has only been in place a few days, so I can not speak about the long-term usage or durability. It was larger than I first imagined it would be, because it takes up about double the space that the 1TB external Seagates I require. The 1TB drives were also powered via USB, whereas these 500GB drives require electrical power and USB. Overall, so far, so good.Lire l'avis complet...

Faulty drive.
Stopped working 10 minutes after I installed it.........I recommend internal sata
secondary/etc drives instead........format the secondary internal sata drive as
FAT 32 using gparted for linux application/app. ........off topic........I also recommend
the free operating system Linux Mint Mate 32bit/i386 or 64 bit/I686.......the only thing
bad about Linux Mint Mate is the color scheme chooser........Ubuntu Linux Mate as of
2017 only works on dual core 64 bit computers.........see also distrowatch or
