Great Wii game for all ages

My stepdaughter (age 13) loves Scooby Doo, and who wouldn't? He's just the cutest Great Dane around. This game was perfect for her and we even enjoyed watching her play the game and figuring out the puzzles. It's a family oriented game so it's perfect for those long, cold weekends. All of the characters are included in this game and each one has their own special "powers" that come into play as the game goes along. Two people can play together to help solve the mystery, which teaches cooperation and how to be helpful to each other, as you both are on the same team working for the same goal.
This game doesn't get you up and moving around like the Wii sports or fit games, but it's still fun.

Kiddos like it

Was hoping it was more of a mystery solving puzzle game but it is more of a fighting game which is disappointing. It is really easy and the youngsters like it and like the cutscenes. It is a short game with only 4 levels. You can guess who the villain is after each level but you don’t get any rewards for being right. It would be cooler if you could pick whoever you wanted to be the villain and have a cutscene tailored for each suspect. It cost me 10 bucks used which is great for the amount of fun they had. Again, very easy game I don’t think you can actually die in it unless you are really trying to. Lire l'avis complet...

Easy to play, even for young ones that aren't yet able to read!

I bought this for my 5 year old son, who already has the Wii Scooby Doo Spooky Swamp. He actually prefers this one as you don't have to be able to read to follow along. It focuses more on some of the monster fighting and technical jumps than Spooky Swamp, which has more reading and focuses more on finding clues and completing tasks. From an adult perspective, I think Spooky Swamp is the better option.

Either way, both games are family fun and can be played with two players. If a third game is designed, I anticipate purchasing that one too.

Fun Family Game!

I'm 28, and i got this for my 16 year old sister for Christmas. I don't play video games often (no time!), but it was very easy to pick up the controls. The game play isn't too complicated, and it's kind of easy; so "serious gamers" probably wouldn't enjoy it. But my sister and I played for about an hour Christmas morning until we beat the first level; and we had a Blast doing it! So if you're looking for a nice family game, this is for you!Lire l'avis complet...

great kids and family game

my son is 3 1/2 and he and my husband love to play this game (it's mostly dad with a little help from my son-he's the critic and cheering section) LOL. It's challenging enough for kids and adults alike, but the cool things are; that the "gang" are kids, the gang has their original cartoon voices, the graphics are great, the game is colorful, Scooby and Shaggy have great diaologue, and who can resist those scooby snacks!!! If you're looking for a "Scooby scary" good time, this game is a must!!!Lire l'avis complet...

A Scooby Doo Lover

My 10 year old grandson loves Scooby Doo. He wanted this game. He opened it immediately and started playing. I liked it because it was a video game he could play without getting frustrated so many other games. Lire l'avis complet...

overall, good fun

initial reactions were not great. the kids were disturbed that the characters didn't look more like the ones from the TV show, and, I found the laugh tracks (canned laughter)really annoying.
however, if you tune out/ignore these things, then the game is fun. thankfully they at least used the original voiceover actors so the character voices are consistent with the TV shows'.
my 9 year old boy really enjoys playing this, and I even enjoy playing it with him.

Scooby Doo First Frights (WII, 2009)

My children love the this game. We decided to purchase it after renting it a couple times. We got a better deal on E-bay then at any store we looked at. This game is appropriate for any child who is 8 or older. Although you are fighting the monsters there is no gore or blood. Does have cartoon violence but it is not worse then what you will see on the cartoon. Multiple levels. Can played with one or two people, you can switch charectors during play. This keeps my childrens attention. Many things to collect or do on each level to be able to go to the next level. Very addictive!Lire l'avis complet...

Fun Scooby game

My family loves scooby doo and games. This has been fun for them, though it would be challenging for younger kids
