Great keyless lock
This item was easy yo install and setup. I like the fact that there is no motor and the lock/unlock feature is manual once the code is entered. I’ve had other type locks that will automatically turn the deadbolt for you but I found they became problematic over time with either batty consumption or mechanical issues. This deadbolt was very easy to install and works great. No more lost keys for all the family members. Another great feature is to set a code for people working in your home. Reliable, convenient and secure
Once you have a schlage lock installed it’s super easy to change or upgrade to a higher level schlage because the hardware is same in all locks. I upgraded from schlage traditional deadbolt to electronic locks without having to drill or make any changes in the door. Code Setup is also very easy. It’s easy to add or delete codes. Quality Lock
I already had two Schlage touch pad locks, that automatically turned the bolt. This lock is on a barn that I don't use everyday so I wanted the touchpad without the automatic turning of the bolt. The battery should last me a couple of years. I didn't hesitate to purchase this lock because I have been thrilled with Schlage over the years. They build the best locks on the market for the money. Best Combo Deadbolt
We have purchased several of these for different properties.
They do not use a key.
There is no motor that has to be turned by battery power to weaken the battery quickly.
The lever is turned by the user after he/she puts in the correct combination.
You can jump the whole thing with a new battery if it wears out.

this is the 3rd schlage key pad we have purchased.
very easy to set up. lots of code storage. very easy to eliminate and create key codes.
ideal for rentals, or a busy entry. but just as good for the residence.
no more fumbling with the keys when coming or going.
just have everyone that will need access come up with a number code that they will never forget, and you're all set.

Excellent choice
This deadbolt is great. We've had several automatic deadbolts which have bit the dust because children like to push on the door while it's turning.....causing the gears inside the lock to break and the batteries have to be changed often. With this deadbolt you have the keypad entry with manual deadbolt turn. No worries of broken gears and the batteries last forever. Not to mention the smooth action slide. Excellent Deadbolt Lock
It's a great lock especially if you have pre-teens that can't keep track of a key longer than 15-20 minutes. This gives you the ability to give them a code and then they just have to remember the code, and you don't have to worry about where the lost keys to your house is. It's easy to setup and use. Perfect Alternative to Fumbling With Keys!
Replaced an existing key lock deadbolt with this Schlage product. Very pleased. Color and design matched existing handle (another manufacturer) perfectly. Touchscreen works flawlessly. There is no key option, so if the battery runs out you can just touch contacts on the front panel with a 9-volt battery and enter the combination. A clever innovation, but probably not convenient if you do not have a 9-volt battery handy and get locked out. Fine for us, however, since we have another way of entering the house if the battery has failed. There are plenty of options/combinations for programming the device. Lire l'avis complet
