The originals!
I remember these books as a kid. My parents always hated them because of the pictures being to horrible. Now the new versions have toned down pictures and are not as good. Very Pleased
I was very pleased with my purchase. It was exactly what I expected and it came in a timely manner, plus it had the original artwork. I remember being freaked out by Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark when I was little, so when my 8 year old son came home from school talking about these scary books with spooky pictures I knew exactly what he was talking about. There are very few types of books I like to collect, this series is one of them. Since my elementary school days I have been trying to collect them.
Now I have them and they will make excellent reading time for me and my kids as they get older.

I got these books just in time for Halloween. I personally believe that the original illustrations is what made these books the best scary story books for young kids.
