Saving Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan
Amy Tan is my favorite author. She can weave a tale better than any writer I've read. Saving Fish is so intriging and informative about the land of Burma.

A Gem

It's like you were there
I instantly fell in love with this book and was unable to put it down from start to finish. I think she did a fabulous job in making the reader live vicariously through the traveling characters. I bought this book because I belong to a bookclub and this is one of Amy Tan's books that was chosen for this month.

This book was very slow. About 25% of the book could have been left out. We read it in my book club and noone really enjoyed it.
